Sikkim Tourism department attracted a huge amount of visitors of Buddhist pilgrims mostly from Thailand, Nepal and Bhutan and now tourism department of Sikkim trying to attract the Japanese visitors said state tourism Secretary Ravindra Telang. Several projects in state are under process to boost tourism in the state it is expected all projected will complete by 2015. He also said that To develop rural tourism in the state the government will develop 14000 home stays. The dream project of state tourism “Buddha Park” in Rabong area of South Sikkim will complete by this November. From the last 8 months a great amount of tourist visited ideshwara Dhaam generally known as 'Chaar Dhaam', Sai Mandir in Namchi and Daramdin Samdruptse and some other sightseeing destinations of the state. According to official stats of state tourism record 24,350 foreign visitors visited states in last nine months.
