Continuing sustainable development the Incredible India campaign has attracted 4.32 lakh foreign tourists in the month of June this year the registering growth of tourist is 4.8 percent as compare of last year in the same month. Foreign exchange earnings from tourism grab a strong growth as the exchequer it earned 6485 crore Rupees compared to 5440 crore in the corresponding period of last year. Fully 32.37 lakh foreigners visited the country during January-June 2012 and 30.15 lakh foreigners visited during the same period last year.
The Minister had undertaken to perform a series of road shows in abroad to showcasing the Indian tourist destination for attracting foreign tourists. Moreover the ministry of tourism already launched a Clean India campaign to keep tourist destination hygienic across the country.
