Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport meet our representative who will welcome you in an Indian style. Then transfer to the hotel. Delhi, the national capital of India is the true face of modern India; it is one of the bursting metropolises of the world. After getting refreshed you will be taken for a car ride in Delhi. Today you will drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan and the royal areas of the city. It is the part of the Lutyen’s Delhi. Explore the War Memorial Arch, the India Gate which is one of the major landmarks as well hangouts of the city.Dinner will be served at an exotic restaurant in Delhi. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 2: Delhi
Post breakfast, you will proceed your Delhi sightseeing tour. First you tour the monuments of New Delhi. The city of true India, New Delhi is the city of politics, business and culture. First visit the monuments of Imperial Delhi such as Qutub Minar, the tallest stone tower in India, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, National Gallery and Museum, etc.After lunch, you will tour the Old Delhi part, which was once the walled city of the Shahjahanabad. The main attractions are the giant Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and the Chandi Chowk Market. All are reminiscent of the Mughals. Then pay homage to the Father of Nation at Raj Ghat Memorial.
After a sumptuous dinner, stay overnight. If you want you can enjoy your evening at an exotic venue. Delhi is the rocking city tops in India for clubbing and dining.
Day 03: Delhi - Varanasi
Have breakfast at the hotel. You can take a morning spa massage. Then at the scheduled time head towards to the airport for Varanasi flight.Varanasi is the Hindu holy city located on the bank of the River Ganga. Mark Twain said that Varanasi is older than history. One of the oldest cities of the world as well the seat of learning of ancient India, Varanasi is the religious center of the Hindus and lots of devotes visit this city to offer prayers to Ganga Maya. Hindus have a belief that if someone visits Varanasi and has a holy dip on the Gangs is rewarded with salvation.
On arrival at Varanasi, take the hotel. Then you will be taken to Sarnath, a Buddhist pilgrimage site located near Varanasi. It is at Sarnath that Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Here explore the ruins of a monastery and the museum. Return back to the hotel. In the evening visit the river Ghats to have a view of the evening aarti ceremony and the cremations.
Day 04 : Varanasi - Khajuraho
Early morning enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganga. If you can enjoy the ride at the sunrise time it is to be more enjoyable and memorable experience. The devotees offer prayers to Ganga in the early morning. After boat ride visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.Then have breakfast and start your sightseeing in the city. Visit the Bharat Mata Temple, 18th century Durga Temple, commonly known as the Monkey Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, and Benaras Hindu University, the biggest residential university in Asia. The Art Gallery of the University and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb are worth viewing. The gallery has a good collection of ancient and contemporary Indian painting.
Then take the afternoon flight to your next destination, Khajuraho located in Madhya Pradesh. On arrival you will be taken to the hotel. Today you will explore only the eastern set of the temples. In the evening enjoy the Light and Sound Show programme.
A World Heritage Site in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, Khajuraho is famous for its erotic sculptures of the temples and the Khajuraho dance festival. Some of the temples of Khajuraho celebrate womanhood.
Day 05 : Khajuraho - Jhansi - Agra
Khajuraho to Jhansi : By Road 175 km in 4 hr
Jhansi - Agra: Post breakfast, visit the western set of temple of Khajuraho. Then drive to Orchha.
Orchha
The Bundela rulers established this Orchha city on the bank of Betwa River. The palaces and temples are in ruined condition and still tell a saga of rich past. The major attractions are the temples and the chattris built in memory of the kings.
After exploration of the Orchha city, take the train for Agra at Jhansi railway station. On arrival you will be escorted to a hotel. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 06 : Agra
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Agra. The second capital of Mughal Empire was flourished into a glorious capital during the rule of Akbar and Shah Jahan. The irresistible charm of this city draws millions of tourists from all over the world. The Mughal heritage of Agra and drifting aroma of Mughlai cuisine are the attractions for the travelers.You will explore the Agra attractions-Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the Baby Taj. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 07 : Agra - Jaipur (221 kms - 5 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Enroute tour the monuments at Fatehpur Sikri. Akbar built the great mosque of Fatehpur Sikri after his male heir blessed by the saint Salim Christi. As an honor to the saint Akbar shifted his capital to Fatehpur Sikri and built several monuments.Then drive to Jaipur. The erstwhile capital of the princely states of the Kachawas Rajputs, Jaipur houses three royal forts, one palace and temples and bazaars. Jaipur is named after the king Jai Singh II. The title of Sawai Maharaja was given to this king by the Mughals.
On arrival take the hotel. In the evening visit the Birla temple. After dinner, stay overnight. Day 08 : Jaipur
Post breakfast, proceed to the majestic Amber Fort located on a hillock overlooking the city. Don’t miss an elephant ride to Amber Fort.Then visit the Jal Mahal located in middle of the Man Sagar Lake. Return back to the city and explore the City Palace and its museum. After lunch, visit the Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the colorful bazaars of Jaipur. The markets of Jaipur house gold and silver jewellery, pottery, tie-dye materials, silk, saris, wooden handicrafts and carpets.
In the evening enjoy theme dinner at the Choki Dhani ethnic restaurant.
Day 09 : Jaipur - Jodhpur: (250 kms)
Have breakfast at the hotel. Then drive to Jodhpur. Enroute stop at Chatrasagar for lunch. On arrival in Jodhpur, take rest at the palace hotel.Located at the edge of the Thar Desert, the enigmatic city Jodhpur houses the Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and the royal cenotaphs. This Marwar state of Rajputs had a rich history of polo.
In the evening visit the museum located in the palace complex. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 10 : Jodhpur
After breakfast, explore the majestic Mehrangarh Fort located on a hillock overlooking the blue tins of the city. The inside palaces of the fort house miniature paintings. Then visit the Jaswant Thada Memorial. Also explore the largest private residence of India, Umaid Bhawan Palace.
In the evening, a dinner will be served at an exotic venue. Overnight will be at Jodhpur hotel. Day 11 : Jodhpur - Udaipur: (250 kms)
Post breakfast drive to Udaipur, the lake city of Rajasthan. Enroute tour the temples of Ranakpur. The pillar of the main Ranakpur Jain temple is stunning. Visit the Sun temple and other Jain temples.Lunch will be served at the Fateh Bagh Palace and then drive to Udaipur. Reaching the lake city take the hotel.
Udaipur, the most romantic city on earth seems like a fairytale land. It is flanked by three lakes and it was once the state of the Mewar Sisodia Rajputs. Udaipur is a land of sights and sounds. The City Palace is located on the bank of the Lake Pichola. Jagdish temple and the Taj Lake Palace located amidst an island look wonderful. The romantic environ of Udaipur is always a source of inspiration to the poets and painters.
After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 12 : Udaipur
After breakfast, explore all the tour attractions of the city. Visit the City Palace, Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens, the Jagdish Temple and the local folk Museum.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. Dance show programme in the evening. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 13 : Udaipur - Delhi: (by flight)
Have breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time take your flight to Delhi. On arrival take the hotel. We would like to offer you the farewell dinner at an exotic dining venue in Delhi.
Day 14 : Delhi - Departure
You can do your last day shopping in Delhi. Then our representative will transfer you to the airport. Your first time travel to India will come to an end.
