Day 1: Delhi
As your Ladakh culture tour package unfolds today, our GHIJ representative would welcome you at the international airport in Delhi. Get transferred to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure preparing for the journey approaching ahead.Day 2: Delhi - Leh
We will take a morning flight to Leh today. On arrival at Leh, our representative would welcome you in a traditional way and assist you in hotel transfer. Take the afternoon off for leisurely activities. Later visit the palace and the gompa of Leh and also the Stok royal palace.Days 3: Leh - Ladakh
Today, we would drive up to Ladakh and visit the Indus valley monasteries. Visit Shey, the old summer palace of the kings of Ladakh and praise its wonderful statue of Lord Buddha. Perched on the top of a hill overhanging the Indus, Thikse monastery is another beautiful monument that can be seen. Don’t forget to visit the Hemis gompa.Days 4: Ladakh
Today visit the Stok Palace, Spitok monastery and the Tibetan camp of Choglamsar. Take the rest of the day of to get acclimatized.Days 5: Leh - Phyang
We will drive today to the famous Phyang monastery and also visit the tranquil and quaint village located nearby. Visit the Alchi monastery famous for its statues of Lord Buddha and its wall paintings.Day 6: Alchi - Ridzong - Lamayuru
En route to Lamayuru, we will first visit the Ridzong monastery which is set with a backdrop of spectacular landscapes. Later, after reaching Lamayuru, we will visit the monastery here.
Day 7: Lamayuru - Likir - Leh
While returning back to Leh today, we first go up to the Likir monastery, which is known to be among the oldest in the region. Also visit the ruined fortress located nearby. Arrive at Leh in the evening and stay overnight at a hotel.Day 8: Leh - Khardong La
We will start our day with a drive from Leh to Khardong La. Savour the beauty of the nature on the way and also get glimpse of the beautiful and enchanting Nubra valley.
Day 9: Hundar
After arriving at Hundar today, we would go on for a camel safari! Don’t be surprised, camels are found even in this part of the world. These Bactrian camels were once used for caravans crossing central Asia. Another camel safari can also be arranged on request here.
Day 10: Hundar - Leh
Arrive at Leh today and keep the rest of the day off for shopping and leisurely activities.
Day 11: Leh - Delhi
With the help of our GHIJ representative, reach the airport to catch a flight back to Delhi. On arrival, check into a hotel and spend overnight.
Day 12: Delhi
Take this day off for leisurely activities. Go out shopping or just spend time getting one with the vibrant culture of the Indian capital.
