Day 1: Delhi
On the first day of our journey in the Taj and Temple Heritage Nepal Tour Package, you would arrive in Delhi from your home where a GHIJ representative would welcome you and arrange for your hotel transfer. Take the rest of the day off to relax and prepare for an eventful journey ahead in our Taj and Temple Nepal holiday. Day 2: Delhi
After breakfast today, we head on for a tour of the historic monuments in old Delhi area. Visit the imposing Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Post lunch, go up to Humayun's Tomb, Birla temple, Bahai Temple, Qutab Minar, India Gate, President’s House and wander at the famous Connaught Place shopping hub. Stay overnight at a hotel.Days 3: Delhi - Agra (203 kms/4 hours)
Today morning, we go to the Delhi railway station to catch the luxury train Shatabdi Express to Agra. After arriving at Agra, transfer to a hotel and then in the afternoon, go for a tour to Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Visit the local market places in the evening and stay overnight at your hotel.Days 4: Agra - Khajuraho (400 kms/8 hours)
Today morning, transfer to the Agra railway station and take a train to Jhansi from where you would drive up to Khajuraho. In the evening, a tour would be arranged to the western and eastern group of temples including Kandariya Mahadeo, chausatha yogini and Chitragupta temple. Overnight stay at hotel.Days 5: Khajuraho - Varanasi (399 kms)
Start your day a bit early today and after breakfast, visit the southern group of temples. In the afternoon, your GHIJ representative would arrange for a peaceful flight to Varanasi. On arrival, check into a hotel. In the afternoon, we can go on a tour of the city including Benaras Hindu University, which is famous as the ancient place which envisioned the education system in the country.Days 7: Kathmandu
