Day 1: Delhi - Kathmandu (1063 kms)
On the first day of your Nepal cultural tour package, your airport transfer to New Delhi airport would be arranged by a GHIJ representative. From here, you board a flight to the Kathmandu city. On arriving at the Tribhuwan International Airport, you would be welcomed in a traditional way and would be transferred to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.Day 2: Kathmandu
Today, we strongly recommend an early start of the day in your Nepal holiday package. Witness the beautiful and enchanting sunrise from the hotel before having breakfast. After breakfast, we go out for a half day sightseeing tour to Kathmandu and see Durbar Square, Kumari temple and Swayambhunath. All three of these tourist destinations have emerged as major spots where a lot of tourists throng throughout the year.In the second half of the day, we would go to the Patan city famous for its art and craft and see the popular spots in the city like Shikara, Patan Durbar with Royal Bath, and Hiranya Varna Mahavir.
Days 3: Kathmandu - Lumbini (257 kms/5 and a half hours)
After breakfast today, we will start our drive to the birthplace of Lord Buddha, Lumbini. One of the most sacred cities in the world for the followers of the Buddhist religion, Lumbini has also been included as a world heritage site by the UNESCO. En route, don’t forget to visit the famous Manakamana temple which is known to fulfill your wishes.On arriving at Lumbini, check into a hotel and after relaxing for some time, go on a walk to the town. You can visit the famous and sacred Lumbini garden where Buddha was born. Don't forget to visit the Maya Devi temple which holds a sculpture of Maya Devi giving birth to the infant Buddha. Days 4: Lumbini
After a hearty breakfast, start with the day on your Nepal culture tour package. We would start with a visit to the archaeological site of Tilaurkot, where the ancient palace of Lord Buddha’s father is located. This place is located at a distance of around 27 kms from the main Lumbini city. Savour the gift of nature at this wonderfully laid out landscape.
