Day 1: Delhi - Kathmandu (1063 kms)
A GHIJ representative arranges for your airport transfer to the Delhi International Airport from where you will board a flight to Kathmandu. On arriving here, you would be transferred to a hotel in Kathmandu. Spend overnight relaxing and preparing for a marvelous journey ahead.Day 2: Kathmandu - Nagarkot (30 kms/1 Hour)
First we take you out on a half day city sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. We will visit the famous Pashupati Nath temple, one of the most revered Hindu temples in the city. After that, we head to Boudanath, which is perhaps the largest stupa of Lord Buddha in Nepal. Later, we drive up to the Bhaktapur town and see the durbar square, temples and palace complex here. Later, we drive to Nagarkot and on arrival, stay overnight at the hotel.Days 3: Nagarkot - Kathmandu
After breakfast, we come back to Kathmandu and reserve the second half of the day for visiting Kathmandu durbar square, the Kumari temple which is known as the house of the virgin goddess, Swayambhunath stupa from where you would be able to get a picturesque view of the entire Kathmandu valley.Spend your evening with a rickshaw ride and reach out to Thamel, a local restaurant for a typical Nepalese dinner. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Days 4: Kathmandu - Pokhara (200 kms/7 hours)
We start early morning after breakfast, with our drive to the Pokhara city. On arriving here, we spend the rest of the day sightseeing of the city. Don’t forget to visit Phewa Lake and admire the view of the Fish Tail’s Peak in the water surface here. Go for a visit to the Seti River gorge-one of the most beautiful places here. We will end our day with a visit to the Mahendra Gufa, which is known for its stalactites. Spend the night at the hotel.Days 5: Pokhara - Chitwan
After breakfast today, we set out on a journey from Pokhara to the Royal Chitwan National Park. After reaching at this national park, we can do a lot of safari activities. We can go out for forest walks, canoeing, safaris and much more. Let the night envelope you amidst cultural performances. Stay overnight in the tented accommodation.Days 6: Chitwan
Finish your breakfast and then we take you out on a full day safari tour to the national park. You would be delighted to spot species of royal Bengal tigers, leopards, monkeys, and several other types of deer and reptiles. Stay overnight in the tented accommodation.Days 7: Chitwan - Lumbini
We travel overland from Chitwan to Lumbini, which is famous as the birthplace of Lord Buddha. This place has been included as the UNESCO world heritage site. In case you have some time, don’t forget to visit the Manakamana temple en route to Lumbini.After arriving at Lumbini, transfer to a hotel and after settling down in the hotel, go for a walk to the sacred Lumbini Garden, visit the Maya Devi temple which is famous for its sculpture depicting Maya Devi holding a branch of the pipal tree in the right hand and giving birth to the infant Buddha who stands up on a lotus pedestal.
Days 8: Lumbini
First we visit the important site of Tilaurkot, where the ancient palace of Suddodha, father of Gautam Buddha is located. This is the place where Buddha had spent his formative years as a prince. The Kapilavastu museum here is famous for the pottery, jewelry and ornaments displayed here. Also visit the shrines, monasteries, and stupa near the sacred garden where Gautam Buddha was born.
