Day 1: Delhi - Manaur
To embark our journey on the India Nepal Adventure Tour Package, we will arrange for a flight to Jodhpur today from where a GHIJ representative would arrange for your transfer to Manaur, a rustic desert village in the middle of the Thar Desert. Go for a jeep safari to visit the major tribe of this region, the Vishnois. It is believed that this tribe follows 29 principles of the non-violent Vaishnava sect. Enjoy coming close to this community of potters, weavers, leather embroiders and camel breeders. Stay overnight at a guest house.Day 2: Manaur - Jaisalmer
Today, we will start with a morning drive deep into the desert area to a distance of around 60 miles to arrive at Jaisalmer. Founded in the 12th century, Jaisalmer is one of the most magical cities in Rajasthan. The golden fort seems just out of the fables from Arabian nights.Visit the ancient Havelis, whose architecture is extremely notable for inspirations from the past. Stay overnight at a hotel.
Days 3: Jaisalmer
Today, indulge in the luxury of a mini-camel safari over large sand dunes to visit the beautiful desert villages of Ratarsar and Dhoba. Stroll freely in the local market places of the city in the afternoon. You would simply be fascinated by the beauty of the locally made articles like rugs, blankets, stonework and antiques. After an early morning breakfast, drive up to the Jodhpur city. Also famous by the name of the Blue City, Jodhpur is famous for its traditional culture and historical monuments. Days 7: Udaipur
Udaipur is a favourite tourist destination in Rajasthan. With marble palaces, azure blue lakes and green hills, the city is regarded as one of the most romantic cities of the country. In the morning today, we take you on a flight to visit the Himalayan peaks. The most prominent of the peaks is the Mt Everest, which is the highest peak in the world.In the afternoon, we will go for a tour to the Kathmandu valley and visit the famous Hindu temple Pashupati Nath and would then head on to the Boudanath stupa. Rest at your hotel in the night.
Days 13: Bhaktapur - Nagarkot Trek
We start this morning by exploring the verdant Kathmandu valley. Enjoy panoramic view of the Himalayas and go up to Bhaktapur which is famous for a number of Hindu and Buddhist temples. A delightfully traditional village, this place is known for its temples and other historical monuments.Next, we head to the wonderful location of Nagarkot, the best location to view the Himalayan ranges. From here, we would embark on a trek on an easy alpine trek. This trek would lead us to Changu Narayan. Stay overnight at a hotel.
Days 14: Patan - Bungamati
Today, after a hearty breakfast, we would go on a tour to the Patan city, which is known for its imposing palaces and durbar square. In the afternoon, a visit to Bungamati awaits us. A small traditional Newar village known for its wood carvers and sculptures, this village is definitely going to enchant you.Days 15: Kathmandu - Chitwan (190 kms/5 hours)
Today, we drive up to the Trishuli River and start with a thrilling and enthralling white water rafting trip. This raft would take you up to a delightful journey across the valleys and natural landscapes of the region. After rafting for around 4-5 hours, you would be picked up and transferred to Royal Chitwan National Park. In the evening, attend the briefing on the preparation for wildlife safari. Spend overnight at the hotel.Days 16: Chitwan
Established way back in the year 1962 by the then king Mahendra, this park is a natural habitat of a number of rare species. The park has almost 40 Royal Bengal tigers. Enjoy various activities available in the forest area. Attend a cultural show in the evening.Days 17: Chitwan - Kathmandu
