Day 1: Delhi - Kathmandu
On the first day of your Nepal cultural tour Package, our GHIJ representative will arrange for your transfer to the New Delhi international airport from where, you will board a flight to the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. Upon arriving at Kathmandu, you would be welcomed by a GHIJ representative who will arrange for your check into a hotel at the city. Take the rest of the day of and relax for the exhilarating Nepal holiday which awaits you in this Himalayan Kingdom.Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast, we start our second day in the Kathmandu city which begins with a sightseeing tour of this enchanting city. On the second day of the Nepal culture and adventure tour package, we will first go to the famous tourist and religious spot Swayambhunath. This beautiful stupa is considered to be the biggest and the best stupas of the world. The establishment of this wonderful stupa is connected well with the establishment of the Kathmandu city. You would simply be delighted to see the small Chaityas and the monasteries and the Hindu temples that surround this historical and cultural place in Kathmandu.The next destination today is the famous Kathmandu Durbar square. This beautiful complex of palaces, courtyards and temples was built somewhere between the 12th and 18th centuries and was the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. It is the same place where the kings of Kathmandu are crowned and solemnized. A 17th century stone inscription in the palace with writings in 15 languages is one of the highlights of this place. Other highlights of this complex include the Kumari temple and the Kasthamandap which are worth visiting.
In the second half of the day, we visit the famous Patan durbar square which is known to be a delightful complex of palace buildings, artistically designed courtyards, and pagoda temples. This site has been listed as a world heritage site and also houses a museum that contains an array of bronze statues and religious monuments. From here, we go to the Tibetan refugee camp which was set up in the year 1960 by the initiative of the International Red Cross and Swiss Development Corporation along with HMG of Nepal. The Tibetan migrants based here support themselves by making handicrafts and like. You can buy a few souvenirs from this place. Retire to your hotel after a long day of sightseeing and stay overnight.
Days 3: Kathmandu - Pokhara (200 kms/6 hours)
Today, after a hearty breakfast, we drive up first to Majimtar. Here the river rafting is famous and enough to excite the tourists fully. After an exotic experience of river rafting in which you raft to Kuringhat and Muglin, we drive up to Pokhara, another famous tourist destination in Nepal. A beautiful city nestled in a landscaping valley, this city is the starting point for the popular trekking and river rafting destinations in Nepal. The second largest city of Nepal, Pokhara is well appreciated for a diverse variety of flowers and is home to forests, gushing rivers and emerald lakes. On reaching Pokhara, check into a hotel and stay overight.Days 4: Pokhara - Pothana
Today, your GHIJ representative would take you on an exciting and adventurous trek to the beautiful Pothana. This trek takes around 5 hours. Retire into the wonderful tents after an eventful day of trekking at Pothana.Days 5: Pothana - Landrung
On the second day of trekking, you today trek to the blissfully beautiful destination of Landrung. This trek takes another 5 hours and is quite adventurous. The adventure seeking tourists are simply going to love this trek. Rest overnight at the camp.Days 6: Landrung - Birethani - Pokhara
Today, we would go on another exciting trekking trip to Birethani. It is a 5 hour long trek. After reaching here and relaxing for a while, we drive back to Pokhara which takes around 2 hours. On arriving here, check into the hotel and stay overnight.Days 7: Pokhara - Chitwan National Park (200 kms/5 hours)
After breakfast, we take you to enjoy a pleasant boat ride in Phewa Lake which showcases panoramic view of Mt Fishtail. After this relaxing and refreshing boat ride, we start with our drive to the Chitwan National Park. On arriving to this destination of our Nepal holidays, we check into a forest lodge and enjoy a delectable lunch here. Post lunch, you can enjoy canoe or elephant ride and then take the rest of the day off.Days 8: Chitwan - Kathmandu (185 kms/5 hours)
We start our day a bit early today and go for a forest safari and bird watching tour after an early breakfast or morning tea. After returning from the forest area, we set out to the drive back to Kathmandu city which takes around 5 hours. On this journey, we pass enchanting valleys, banks of rivers and lush landscapes. After arriving at Kathmandu, we check into the hotel and take the rest of the day off.Days 9: Kathmandu
After having a sumptuous breakfast, we embark on our sightseeing tour in our Nepal culture and adventure tour package. First, we arrive at Boudanath, which is another famous stupa situated 6 kms downsouth of the Kathmandu city. This wonderful stupa was built in the fifth century AD. After spending sometime in the Boudanath, we start for the world-famous Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu. Situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati river, this temple of Lord Shiva is extremely famous for its superb architecture. The two tiered golden roof and the silver doors are also a highlight of this temple. You can also take a dip at the sacred river which is known to rid one of his sins.In the latter half of the day, we go to Bhaktapur which prides itself on the 15th century palace of 55 windows, which are situated to the left and are simply admirable. The golden gate here is also an architectural delight. Don’t forget to visit the temples like Batsala temple, Nyatapola temple and Shiva temple which are simply majestic and draw a lot of crowd arriving at Kathmandu. After returning, spend the evening at leisure in your hotel or take a stroll in the marketplaces of the city.
