India is very enchanting and pleasant country of sacred and holy spots. It is the wonder land of many legacy monuments and sacred temples. Buddhist tour in India is one of the most visited sacred places by devotees. Lord Buddha was very kind and novel soul and his childhood name is Siddhartha.

The far-famed Buddhist sacred places are Sarnath, Bodhgya, Vaishali, Kushinagar, Lumbini and lots more. These all above are very peaceful and calm places, which is very close to Lord Buddha. He was given the Eightfold path and the path includes, Right view, Right Thought, Right Speech, Right action, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness, and Right Concentration.

Some of the Buddhist monuments which are widely distributed are as follows:-

1.       Maha Bodhi Temple in Bodhgaya which is situated around 105 kilometers from the capital Patna.

2.       Sanchi  Stupa in Madhya Pradesh is built during the 3rd century by the Mauryan Emperor Asoka.

3.       Shanti Stupa (Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir) is inaugurated by Dalai Lama and major faith sacred place for devotees.

The Lord Buddha was died at the age of 80, after 45 years of teaching in kushinagara.
